Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh Minister for Information and Transit, announced the great news on Sunday in an effort to modernize the public transit system and bring much-needed convenience to Karachi citizens.
The announcement will pave the way for greater mobility and convenience of commuting throughout the congested metropolis.
Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon took to Twitter to say, “Good news, once again! A new bus fleet has arrived in Karachi, allowing the Transport Department of the Government of Sindh to launch new routes in only a few days, providing greater ease, access, and mobility for the people.”
Furthermore, Minister Memon stated that this is just the start of the project, with more buses set to arrive in Karachi in the following months.
Additional buses are expected to join the city’s fleet during the months of August and October, according to his post.
