The education authorities in Sindh have introduced a new online data management system for universities, education boards and the Sindh Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA).
This will help to improve efficiency and coordination across the province, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
At a session today, Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Ismail Rahu was joined by Muhammad Mureed Rahimoon, secretary of universities and boards, along with other officers.
Rahimoon reported that the data system of the universities and educational boards had been made online, meaning that relevant data on educators, employees, and students would now be available on the web portal.
Ismail Rahu announced that the relevant data will be available on the web portal by Tuesday.
He explained that the portal will provide the facility of official correspondence and that the education data for the first five years will be uploaded there. Rahu stated that the online system will help address the issues and improve the tasks.
Finally, he announced that the records related to the employees, budget and enrolled students from matriculation to PhD will also be available on the portal.
