The world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest, is Asad Ali Memon’s goal. He is the only known mountaineer from Sindh. Asad is about to march towards Nepal to climb Mount Everest as part of his ambition to ascend the 14 highest peaks in the world.
Asad stated during a news conference in Karachi that although his objective is more expansive, taking baby steps will help him get there. “I want to climb every one of the world’s 14 tallest summits. My next objective is Everest, “He revealed.
“I have scaled some of the world’s highest summits without assistance from the authorities. This time, Mount Everest, and the government is still unsupportive, “The young climber bemoaned.
Asad also wants to reach the top of every mountain in every continent. His seven-summit trip began in 2019 when he became the youngest Pakistani to climb Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe. In 2020, he accomplished Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America. Then, in under 20 hours, he ascended Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, becoming the first Asian and only Pakistani to accomplish this accomplishment. Asad was the third person from Pakistan and the youngest to climb Denali, the highest point in North America, in 2022.
The mountaineer knows that his forthcoming task to climb Mount Everest in April 2023 would be difficult, but he is committed to completing it.
“Climbing Everest is always a tough task. But, I am confident to do it in April this year. I am the only Pakistani in a group of mountaineers who are going to summit Everest in April this year,” he shared.
“I would like to request government and sponsors to come forward and support me as I am going to represent Pakistan,” he concluded
