Realme is trying to extend its device ecosystem. The Chinese company has just joined the laptop industry and is now preparing to launch its first tablet, the Realme Pad.
The Realme Pad is barely a week away from release, and the teaser campaign is in full swing. The firm previously suggested that it will be a thin and light tablet measuring only 6.9mm thick.
Realme has not specified its weight, but in a press release released to the media, the company stated that it will feature a lightweight design “so that you can entertain on the move, be more accessible for e-learning, and work lighter.”
Realme has also said that the tablet would include the following features:
Full-scale audio-visual experience on a theatrical scale, excellent sound quality, an incredible screen, an outstanding e-reading experience, and will be eye-friendly
However, it seems more like overblown marketing language than real specifications, so we’ll have to wait for hands-on evaluations to see if the tablet lives up to expectations.
Realme has not disclosed battery specs but has stated that the tablet would last all day and will feature rapid charging. It is unknown how quickly the charge will occur.
Realme hasn’t disclosed any official specs, but previous rumors have pointed to Android 11 out of the box, and Helio G80 processor, 4 to 6GB RAM, and 64GB storage space. It might have a 10-inch screen, two 8MP cameras (one on each side), a 7,100 mAh battery, a microSD card slot, and come in Grey or Gold.
Realme has vowed to release additional information on September 5, only days before the formal debut on September 9.
