Both local and foreign mobile phone manufacturers in Pakistan have reduced the prices of 20 models by amounts ranging from Rs400 to Rs10,000. Additionally, reports indicate a reduction in the prices of keypad mobile phones by up to Rs500.
These price reductions come as companies strive to meet sales targets amid increased production. Spokespersons from these companies have stated that the recent price cuts are aimed at stabilizing the mobile phone industry in Pakistan.
