The snow has been cleared from all of the main highways on the way to Murree, said the statement issued by the authorities.
The authorities has also advised everyone to follow the instructions of the administration and traffic police as the roads are still slippery, which may cause difficulty to the travellers.
Chairman National Disaster Management Authority Lt. Gen. Akhtar Nawaz issued a statement saying that, “There is still fear of slippery incidents and pedestrian injuries as the snow is still on both sides of the roads due to heavy snowfall.”
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid also issued a statement saying that, “Even though the snow has been cleared in all the main highways in Murree, but still the ban on entrance to Murree and Galiat from Islamabad will remain enforced for today [Monday].”
In the issued statement, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid also said that, “Only the residents of Murree and adjoining areas of Murree will be allowed to enter these areas.”
