A special court operating under the Official Secrets Act postponed the hearing of the cipher case against former Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday.
The proceedings, scheduled to take place at Adiala Jail, witnessed the presence of both PTI Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Vice Chairman Imran Khan. FIA prosecutor Zulfiqar Naqvi appeared before the court, along with Shah Khawar and Rizwan Abbasi. Salman Safdar, Ali Gohar, and Umair Niazi represented Imran Khan.
Due to the absence of defense counsels, the court could not record statements from prosecution witnesses, leading to an adjournment until November 14, with three additional witnesses summoned.
