On Wednesday, the price of a tola of 24-karat gold in Pakistan was Rs205,000, with ten grams costing Rs175,754 in the local bullion market.
According to the bullion market, one tola of 22-karat gold was priced at Rs187,917, while ten grams were priced at Rs161,109. The gold market in Pakistan has seen an unexpected and considerable drop in prices for the fourth day in a row, perplexing both consumers and investors.
This quick shift in gold prices has been related mostly to the influence of the international gold market, which is known for its inherent volatility. It should be noted that these prices are exclusive to local gold markets and Sarafa Markets in various places across Pakistan.
However, the lack of official gold rates has left customers visiting jewelry stores confused.
The All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, which usually publishes daily gold prices, failed to do so this time.
As a result, investors who carefully follow the gold market are recommended to remain careful as rates continue to fluctuate based on global gold events.
