An agreement was signed between the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government, the State bank of Pakistan, and the 1-Link company. For the collection of government taxes through alternative delivery channels (ADCs) to facilitate taxpayers and simplify tax payment procedures.
Furthermore, according to the issued statement, the tripartite agreement was signed at the finance department, where finance minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra and other senior officials were present.
Secretary finance Atif Rehman, chief executive officer 1-Link Najeeb Agrawalla, and director finance SBP Qadir Bakhash signed the agreement.
On the occasion, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority also signed an agreement with the Pakistan Revenue Automation Private Limited (PRAL) for making the ADCs functional.
