A big historical TV series is coming, and it’s a collaboration between Pakistan and Turkey. This series is called “Selahaddin Eyyubi,” and it’s about the life of a Muslim leader named Sultan Selahaddin Eyyubi.
Some well-known people are working on this series, like Pakistani actors Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui, along with Dr. Kashif Ansari, Ahmet Faruk Bakacak, and Dr. Junaid Ali Shah. The series will be shown on TRT 1.
They’ve already started filming the series. The main character, Sultan Selahaddin Eyyubi, is being played by a Turkish actor named Uğur Güneş, who became famous through another Turkish series called Ertugrul.
They’ve built an amazing set to make it look like the ancient city of Damascus. This set is massive, covering a 200-acre area, and it includes things like mosques, markets, palaces, and houses. A lot of people are working on this series, both in front of and behind the camera.
Today, they shared a teaser for the series on social media. Adnan Siddiqui, one of the producers, wrote, “Get ready to watch the incredible story of Selahaddin Eyyubi, a brave king. Our new show will take you back to a time of bravery and honor. We want you to be excited as we bring history to life.”
He also thanked the whole team for their hard work in making this historical production happen.
The series trailer has received a positive response from Turkish fans who have shared their thoughts on the importance of Muslim history.
