AirSial, Pakistan’s private airline, announced flying operations to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on Friday in order to provide passenger services.
The airline will operate two weekly flights between Islamabad and Lahore, according to the CEO.
Earlier this month, AirSial began flying operations for Saudi Arabia in order to make Umrah pilgrims’ lives easier.
The inaugural flight, carrying 160 people, took off from Allama Iqbal International Airport towards Jeddah. Chairman AirSial, the Board of Directors, and CAA officials wave farewell to travelers departing from Lahore International Airport.
Chairman AirSial Fazal Jilani told ARY News exclusively that the carrier will fly eight weekly flights from Lahore and Islamabad to Saudi Arabia, with services accessible on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
“In the second phase, AirSial will also start flights from Karachi to Jeddah, Peshawar to Jeddah, and Sialkot to Jeddah,” he added, adding that Airbus320 was used for Saudi Arabia flights.
Jeelani stated that the flight operation was established to assist Umrah pilgrims and that AirSial would conduct 68 trips to Saudi Arabia each month.
