According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), at least three Pakistani soldiers were killed when terrorists from Afghanistan opened fire on forces stationed in the Dewagar region of North Waziristan province on Saturday.
According to the military’s media wing, Pakistani forces responded appropriately to the attack, and terrorists sustained substantial casualties, according to intelligence reports.
Havaldar Taimoor (Jhelum resident, 30 years old), Naik Shoaib (Attock resident, 38 years old), and Sepoy Saqib Nawaz (resident of Sialkot, age 24 years) were among the Pakistani soldiers killed in the exchange of fire.
“Pakistan strongly condemns terrorists’ use of Afghan land for anti-Pakistan activities and expects the Afghan government to prohibit similar activities in the future,” the ISPR stated in response to the attack.
In a battle with terrorists in Balochistan’s Awaran, a Pakistan Army major was killed and another soldier was injured, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Terrorists fired on a security forces post in the Kahan region near Awaran on the night of April 21 and 22, according to the army’s media wing. Terrorists on the run were followed into the nearby mountains.
