The United Arab Emirates has introduced a new Golden Visa program aimed at attracting and retaining top talent in the education sector. The initiative, announced by the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge, offers long-term residency to qualified teachers and school leaders in private schools across the emirate.
The Golden Visa targets principals, vice-principals, and teachers currently employed in private schools in Ras Al Khaimah. To be eligible, applicants must have at least three years of residency and employment in the emirate, hold an advanced degree in a relevant field, and demonstrate a positive impact on their school’s performance.
Applicants are required to submit an official appointment letter, proof of qualifications, and evidence of their contributions to improving school outcomes. The Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) has streamlined the application process, offering a free eligibility review.
A notable benefit of the Golden Visa is that it allows eligible educators to sponsor their family members—spouses, children, and parents—for long-term residency in the UAE.
This initiative is open to educators from all nationalities and aligns with Ras Al Khaimah’s broader strategy to strengthen its education system and attract world-class talent.
