The Kempinski Floating Palace Hotel’s developers stated that it will open in early 2025, after delays caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.
The hotel in Ras Al Khaimah will have a floating hotel with 200 rooms and suites, as well as 48 villas that can cruise off the coast of the UAE.
When completed, the project is anticipated to cost AED 1.2 billion ($326 million).
The UAE has experienced a considerable real estate boom in recent years, with Dubai alone having 804 new hotels in 2022, a 6.5 percent increase from 2021.
While the demand for floating hotels is promising, there are several hurdles, such as high service costs and the requirement for sea, air, and other infrastructure.
According to its developers, The Floating Venice LLC, the project will be ready to welcome guests in early 2025.
The floating palace will finish up in Dubai’s Jumeirah district, but its construction is now underway in Ras Al Khaimah’s Island Port, with half of the project already completed.
The villas are also for sale, making them a superb investment opportunity, according to the developers.
