The Utility Stores Corporation has announced a price cut on over 800 essential goods, including ghee, cooking oil, tea, and other home necessities.
According to a spokesperson, price reductions range from 8 to 60 rupees, depending on the product.
The lower costs apply to a wide range of brands and items, including ghee, cooking oil, tea, detergent, noodles, ketchup, tetra pack milk, dry milk, spices, pickles, soap, and toothpaste. As stated in the corporation’s announcement, the reduction takes effect immediately.
Although the funding under the Benazir Income Support Programme is temporarily suspended, the spokesperson indicated that it will be reintroduced soon under a reformed framework.
Consumers can buy these items without any difficulties or conditions, and more attempts are being made to reduce prices on other products.
