On Saturday, the Vietnamese government announced the introduction of an E-Visa service for Pakistani businesspeople.
The Ambassador of Vietnam, Nguyen Tien Phong, announced the development while speaking to the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI).
A lack of knowledge and connectivity, according to the ambassador, is a fundamental impediment to strengthening bilateral trade links between the two countries.

“We must complement one another by understanding our common problems and resolving them in a positive spirit,” he stated.
According to the official, Vietnam imports and provides a variety of goods from Pakistan, and both countries should work together rather than compete.
Phong also praised Faisalabad’s well-developed textile sector, saying that it should make a fresh start by leveraging IT and transforming the city into a textile Silicon Valley.
He went on to say that Vietnam might transfer technology and form joint partnerships with potential Pakistani businesses.
In reference to Vietnam’s tourism business, the ambassador stated that the country might assist Pakistan in developing this sector.
The official also agreed with the notion of exchanging bilateral trade delegations and offered to set up B2B meetings with the relevant stakeholders.
The ambassador added that farmers from Pakistan should submit an official request from the beef association in order for him to unlock this new export venue for the country.
