YouTubers, social media influencers, and TikTokers were prohibited from entering the secretariat of the national assembly.
Unauthorized social media influencers won’t be permitted to visit the national assembly grounds, according to the details.
The prohibition was implemented as a result of several illegal YouTubers and social media influencers misbehaving with lawmakers at Gate No. 1 of Parliament House on December 23, 2022.
Additionally, the National Assembly Secretariat ruled that only reporters, journalists, and media professionals who are affiliated with accredited media organizations and who also possess a valid registration card from a relevant media organization would be permitted entrance.
Influencers on social media who are interested in covering the House’s proceedings can get entrance to Parliament House by presenting a valid session card and a PID.
In the past, Karachi police detained phony police officers wearing uniforms in the New Karachi Industrial Area, along with false employment cards.
The information came to light after the suspicious officers were pulled over for a quick check. All men are TikTokers, and the police officers who conducted the investigation discovered that they were roaming around in uniform while filming videos for social media.
